Malik Neuro & Spine

Description
A Houston-based spine treatment practice, Malik Neuro & Spine, needed a logo and responsive website for their brand new office on the west side of town. The site needed several interactive components, and needed to look professional and inviting.

Brand Identity
Bucking the trend of a standard medical blue color scheme, I chose a green-based theme to represent wellness and to stand out from the crowd. The brand uses a serif font (Playfair Display) for the logo and headings. The logo contains a hand-drawn vector spinal diagram.

Layouts
The homepage utilizes the large green-overlaid image to great effect—setting a tone of healing and wellness. A bright call to action is in place above the fold on most pages, with the exception of those that feature a double-option layout as an entry to the conversion funnel. The homepage also contains a dynamic self-diagnostic interaction that lets users send information about their ailments to a medical team member who will contact them.

Incorporating Data
Collaborating with marketing experts, it was determined that users were more likely to engage with a call to action if two choices were presented side by side. This technique was heavily utilized throughout the subpages of this site. Research also determined that forms were most often completed when surrounded in a box or containing element. Using data-driven design methods allowed me to build layouts that increased conversion rates for our clients, including Malik Neuro & Spine.
