Web Design & Development
The majority of my work consists of designing and building websites. I’m knowledgable in the whole process—from using data-driven insights to develop wireframes, to creating branded layouts, and finally building the site using up-to-date techniques.
Layouts
As a designer, my primary contribution to a web project is developing the layout for the pages, the user flow through the site, and proper application of branding. However, I’m also skilled in front-end development, and have become proficient at building websites in HTML5/CSS3 with frameworks such as Bootstrap.
Lunar and Planetary Institute
With NASA contractor USRA, I redesigned and rebuilt the massive LPI website that sees over 200k yearly visitors. The new version features improved branding and user interface elements, and works well on any screen size.
Screen-size Responsive/Mobile
Responsive Design
Using modern frameworks, the websites I design work just as well on desktop as on a phone. I'm well-versed in the minutia of front-end development, and I stay up to date with the latest best practices and methodologies.
Interactive Elements
I’ve designed many multi-step forms, navigational systems, and other user interface elements. The needs of the user are paramount, and my goal is to make every interaction simple, streamlined, and intuitive.
