Branding & Design Systems
Every company wants to be recognizable. Over the years, I’ve created many visual identities and applied them to all kinds of printed and digital assets in order to set businesses apart from the rest and elevate their unique brands.
Logos
The logo is the unique mark of an entity, and the cornerstone of its brand. I’ve been designing logos since college, and have developed an iterative process to develop the optimal product for the client. Of the many logos I’ve created over the years, here are some of the most recent.

Brand Guidelines
Every brand needs a set of rules to determine which colors, fonts, and types of imagery should be used in its execution. I’ve built brand guidelines, as well as used existing ones to apply a visual identity across multiple platforms.
VNS Therapy

For VNS Therapy, I refined their existing logo and built a brand around it. The guidelines I created are quite detailed and specify how the logo is to be handled, which fonts and colors to use, and much more. This document governed the visual identity for VNS Therapy during my entire time with LivaNova, and it still does to this day.

The BioDude

The BioDude is another example of a brand I built from scratch. I developed the logo and used it as a starting point to choose additional colors. This brand also includes product-specific logos, which bear a similarity to, and are used in conjunction with the main one in a “branded house” arrangement.

Style Guides for Web
Developing a web style guide is an integral part of the process of applying a brand to a website. In addition to colors and fonts, I also include buttons, form components, and other elements in a style guide. This set of rules is critical to maintaining a consistent user experience throughout a site, and can be handed off to a developer for implementation.
