AES Conferences
Description
For several years, I designed LivaNova's conference materials for the American Epilepsy Society (AES) tradeshow. I refreshed the visual theme each year and applied it to flyers, posters, powerpoints, videos, and the booth walls. The events occasionally included talks by prominent physicians at a prestigious locations. I created the graphics to be included on the print and email invites, as well as the registration site.
Booth Graphics
I worked directly with the booth construction company to design the layout and graphics within our quarter-million dollar event budgets. This included designing large-scale print files to precise measurements, suggesting new features such as a back-lit infographic “lightwall”, and even touring the manufacturing facilities near Atlanta, GA.

Video
In order to illustrate product efficacy, I designed several infographic videos for display in the booth, as well in high-traffic areas of the convention space.
Invites
The AES Conferences were accompanied by invitation-only presentations given by experts and physicians experienced in the use of VNS Therapy. I designed the print and email invitations, as well as accompanying landing pages for signup.
Scientific Posters
The conferences also featured scientific posters presenting studies about the disease state of epilepsy and its treatment. I worked with subject matter experts and researchers to develop posters that clearly articulated the various aspects of their scientific inquiries. This process involved coordinating with multiple stakeholders, as well as the print vendor.
Signage
Preparing for almost any even includes designing signs and banners. AES events required me to design not only pull-up and hanging banners, but also specifically-branded signs for the invitation-only presentations. These were displayed in the main conference area, and also in the smaller, offsite presentation venue.
