Design for Print
My college education at the University of Houston was heavily focused on print work, and since then I’ve gained an enormous amount of experience designing for print. Though I’ve produced countless deliverables, only the most prominent are detailed below.
Brochures/Booklets
The majority of the work displayed here represents my time with medical device manufacturer, LivaNova. Interfacing with marketing managers and product experts, I developed numerous printed materials for the VNS Therapy brand. Most of these were intended to sit in doctors’ office waiting rooms, or as direct mail materials.

Print Proofing
With LivaNova, I oversaw the proofing of printed pieces in collaboration with our external vendors. This involved checking for printing and text errors, receiving stakeholder feedback, and approving files for mass production.

Trifold Displays
These portable displays were designed to assist salespeople in advertising VNS Therapy at epilepsy-related events. Each featured removable printed panels, could be folded and carried like a briefcase, and required very careful file construction in Adobe Illustrator.

Scientific Posters
For several conferences with LivaNova, I designed scientific posters presenting studies about the disease state of epilepsy and its treatment. I worked with subject matter experts and researchers to develop materials that clearly articulated the various aspects of their scientific inquiries. This process involved coordinating with multiple stakeholders, as well as the print vendor.

RV
As an extreme extension of our marketing efforts at LivaNova, a branded recreational vehicle was planned to venture forth on a nation-wide outreach tour, stopping at events in major cities. Though ultimately unrealized, I created this colorful mockup as part of a funding proposal to executive leadership.
