The Morales Lawfirm

The Morales Lawfirm website on a laptop

Description

Christopher Morales is a local lawyer who needed a responsive website to inform people about his practice, as well as give a bit of preliminary legal advice about what to do in certain circumstances. The main focus of this site was to make it very easy for users to contact him immediately when they are in desperate need of legal representation.

Brand Identity

The theme for this site was bold and to the point. I used subdued blues for a calming, yet serious tone, and a dark red for calls to action. Setting the text in Helvetica emphasized the no-nonsense, factual appearance that users needed when seeking immediate legal council.

Process

After meeting with the client, the marketing team and I began a collaborative process of sketching out site layouts on a whiteboard. Based on previous successes, we had a good idea how to structure the site, where to place calls to action, etc.. Using this knowledge from our experts in lead generation, I translated our rough concepts into wireframes that were then sent to the client for approval.

Final Layouts

The final site design not only conveys an air of confidence and sophistication, but it also presents a clear pathway for users in an emergency situation. The homepage interaction gives users options to click though based on their legal needs. Calls to action are boldly defined in red throughout the site. Mr. Morales was quite pleased with the final outcome, and gave us a very positive review after we delivered his website.
